The largest collection of Platybelodon skull fossils contains 24 items which were aged 3 months to over 40 years old, and is owned by Hezheng Paleozoological Museum in Hezheng County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, China. Verified by the WRCA, it has been recognised as the “world’s largest collection of Platybelodon skull fossils owned by a museum”.
