The largest party building activity to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China consisted of 2,128 participants in the 7th International Business Elite Gobi Hiking event organised by Shanghai Qitu Sports Development Co., Ltd. (China) in Dunhuang City, China, from 16th to 19th of May 2021. Participants unfolded a 2,400 m2 flag of the Communist Party of China during the event. Verified by the WRCA, the event has been confirmed as the “largest party building activity in the Gobi desert”.
